In 2001 I made a major life change and moved to the country from Melbourne, the so-called “tree-change.” As a complete city girl (I used to live in Flinders Lane in central Melbourne) some aspects of country life took some getting used to. My city friends thought (perhaps still think) I had gone out of my mind moving and derived great amusement when I would tell them about my latest “country moment.” But I loved it from the beginning and am now completely settled (with my Labrador Bess) at Willaura with Stephen who is a farmer.

This part of the site is about the things I do that aren’t about work. It includes stuff about the community I live in, some favourites lists, links to my genealogy site and some photos.
